A Two-Session Creative Experience | Ages 14+

This Ramadan, Creative Corner invites youth and adults to explore the expressive beauty of abstract calligraphy through a guided two-session studio series.

Designed as a progressive creative experience, this series allows participants to develop a layered, refined composition over time — moving beyond a single-session workshop to create a finished artwork with depth, intention, and personal meaning.

In the first session, participants will focus on composition, color palette development, and abstract background creation. Through guided instruction, they will explore balance, movement, and structure while beginning to integrate calligraphic elements into their work.

The second session is dedicated to refinement and completion. Participants will build depth, strengthen contrast, and incorporate final calligraphic forms and metallic accents, resulting in a fully realized abstract calligraphy piece on wood panel.

This studio series emphasizes creative exploration while providing clear guidance, making it accessible to beginners while still engaging for those with prior artistic experience.

Each participant will leave with a finished artwork that reflects both the spirit of Ramadan and their individual artistic voice.

Series Details:
• Ages 14 and up
• Two guided studio sessions (2 hours each)
• Sundays March 1st & March 8th, 1:00–3:00 PM
• Small group setting (limited to maintain individual attention)
• Wood panel and all professional materials included
• No prior calligraphy experience required

This is a drop-off friendly environment for teens, and a welcoming studio experience for adults.

Due to the progressive nature of the series, registration includes both sessions.

Parent / Guardian Waiver

For participants 18 yo and younger: A parent/guardian waiver is required for each minor attending this event and must be completed prior to arrival. Waiver form

We’re so excited to have you join us at The Creative Corner! To keep our events running smoothly, we have a simple policy in place:

For single events: If you need to reschedule, please let us know at least 48 hours before the event. We’re happy to offer a one-time reschedule to a future class. Unfortunately, cancellations within 48 hours are not eligible for rescheduling or refunds.
For multi-week clubs: Because our club sessions are limited and spots are reserved, missed sessions cannot be refunded or made up unless arranged in advance for special circumstances. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to creating art together!
